What started as a bad first impression between Meghan and Draya has turned into a year long beef. It alls tarted during filming when Draya was hesitant to get close to the newest cast member of Basketball Wives LA, Mehgan. Draya had succeeded in getting former castmates Brittish Williams and Sundy Carter fired. Michele is the most popular among viewers and she refused to return if either lady was still participating in the new season. To keep her on board producers had to cut ties with her onscreen enemies. Even though Jackie had rubbed Draya the wrong way last season with her claims that her daughter was dating her then fiance Orlando, producers felt that Jackie was also an intricate part of the show. It just couldn’t be all of Draya’s friends. But to keep her happy they didnt inform her that Jackie was returning.

When Draya met Mehgan on episode 1 it seemed a little odd that someone who seemed close to Jackie on social media would deny her relationship with her. Draya gave the former Bad Girls Club star little of her time and that left a nasty taste in Mehgan’s mouth. Since then Mehgan has been feuding with Jackie, which will be revealed later this season. The latest shade thrown by Meghan was her calling Draya and Orlando’s breakup fake in a recent interview.

“It’s all fake,” the latest entrant to the VH1 reality show told Hip Hollywood. “They’re still together. She’s still living in house, driving his car, and it’s a publicity stunt. That’s my opinion. the breakup, the makeup, the re-breakup, the makeup before that and the breakup before that, it’s fake. That’s just my opinion.”

In the same interview, Jackie Christie, the infamous Basketball Wives star, admitted that Scandrick was double dating Michele and her daughter Chantel. Christie also said that she too believes that the entire breakup drama is staged.

“It’s never been made public. That meant the world to me…Was for her and him to admit what really happened. Now, I just wish the best for them. I don’t deal with that situation. I don’t speak about it because I don’t really know. I don’t know what’s going on,” adding that “I would love to counsel them.”

I’m a little shocked that Malaysia is still on the show but she is a fan favorite. She is one of the few in the series to be actually more than a Baby Mama. She is married to Jannero Pargo and the two have three children. She named her three beats Jewelry line after them. They represent her three heart beats. It’s a children’s jewelry line.

1. Malaysia took Brandi’s spot on the first season of Basketball Wives LA.  Although we are just getting to meet Brandi surprisingly it was Brandi who got Malaysia on the series in the first place. Malaysia and Brandi were close friends and it was Brandi who auditioned for the show. Basketball Wives producers felt she needed a friend to be considered for the series. Well unfortunately Brandi was still turned down and the producers went with Malaysia instead.

The majority of her earnings are from her husband NBA player Jannero who currently plays for the Charlotte Bobcats.  He’s been with over 11 teams in his 12 year NBA career which is not a good look. 3. Her current salary on the series is over $100,000. The show is in it’s third season and has went through some major cast changes. It was initially reported that the cast was changed to bring new drama to the series but there was already enough beefing and cat fighting going on in season 1 and two. The real issue was Laura, Gloria and Brooke wanted major pay raises and I’m talking about NeNe Leakes stuff. Since the show’s ratings were not enough to give out bonuses for the cast the producers felt it would be better to cut the beef and in turn pay less for fresh faces. 4. Malaysia met her husband Jannero at a party in Los Angeles. He was recently drafted to thee Los Angeles Lakers and she was living in Compton California at the time.  Now almost 12 years later she has the ring and the three children to prove their legitimacy of their relationship. She is one of the few on the current season married to an NBA player.
5. Her little brother Jeremy Pargo lost his contract with the 76ers in 2013.  After just 3 years in the NBA he is now in Russia with a much smaller contract. He was earning $2 million in 2012 with the 76ers and is now earning $200K.

Let’s keep it real, the only reason we watch these reality shows is for the drama. It’s like watching real life turnt up to a 1000. But sometimes we forget these are real people. The ladies have all admitted that Brandi is the most boring and most bourgeoisie of the cast. And Draya says the only thing she can say about her is she’s tall. So I’m not sure if she will be returning next season. Outside of how the girls feel about her Brandi Maxiell has more going for her than we think.

1. She survived Ovarian Cancer. Her diagnosis maybe the reason why she’s put up such a wall when meeting the other girls. The cancer started in her reproductive areas and affected her eggs. She was fortunate to be diagnosed with stage 1 which made the treatment much easier.

2. Her net worth is $2.5 million. She is currently a housewife but her net worth and earnings are shared between her husband Jason who is in the NBA. In 2013 according to his current contract he earns $2.5 million from the Orlando Magic. She stays in LA with their children while he is in Florida during the regular season.

3. She has fertility issues. The reason Brandi and her husband moved to Los Angeles was to go through fertility treatment. Because of the damaged cause when she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer Brandi was told she couldn’t have children anymore. But with the plethora of breakthroughs in the healthcare industry there were a few centers in and around Los Angeles that was known for having a high success rate for pregnancies.

4. Best friends with Malaysia Pargo. After salary demands from former cast members Bambi, Laura, Gloria and Brooke VH1 was forced to make some cuts. Since Malaysia and Brandi were close friends and also a wife of an NBA player it seemed like a perfect match. But unfortunately the chemistry with the other ladies is not there. Season 3 of Basketball Wives LA has just begun and unlike the original Basketball Wives this franchise might have some lasting power. Last season of Basketball Wives was a complete disaster and newcomer Tasha Marbury did nothing to help boost ratings. But LA newcomer Brittish Williams might become a fixture on the series and a new fan favorite. Brittish is on her way to becoming a wife to boyfriend Lorenzo Gordon, she has several businesses so she does more than sit on her a**. Most reality stars suddenly start working on music careers, acting or begin writing a book as soon as the cameras are turned on but Brittish’ career has always been turnt up. Her net worth is $300,000. She wants to be known as more than just a wife.

From interviews with castmates Brittish can get a little turnt up. Draya and Malaysia describe her as loud, ghetto and even ratchet. Ouch!! She says she gets her temper from her mother who had a bad temper. But Brittish claims its just a respect issue and if she doesn’t feel she’s getting the respect she deserves she will let you have it. Another problem she’s only 23 years old which might explain her behavior.

LoveofLabels.com, is an online store that caters to a large demographic. The store sales clothing and fashion for affordable prices. But there is a little problem which might slow her online store from growing. She was reported to the Better Business Bureau. The company has an F rating with the Bureau. On the site it claims shipment takes 14 days but clients have reported that they have waited 9 months for their items. In her defense Brittish says the online sales have grown tremendously and she didn’t have the staff to ship things accordingly dealing with the high demand. Which is complete BS. Customers have also complained about the poor quality of the merchandise. The stuff is poorly and cheaply made and to charge $50 for a sweater that was made in a Chinese Factory for $1.00 is completely absurd. Customers also say the customer service is poor and despicable and it’s almost impossible to get a response from the online retailer. Lawd so drama already girl?

She started Love of Labels to create online retailer for her shoe line that she’s been working on. But honestly if the shoes are going to be as cheap as the current merchandise I think it’s best to hold off. Brittish has been a fan of fashion since she was a little girl. She is currently working on a shoe line called Privia couture. Williams is making the shoe line which prices will be comparative to Steve Madden between $50-$100.

Williams says the name comes from the Russion word for Hello privet. I don’t understand where she gets the privia out of privet but okay. She has a lot going on and fans will get to witness her busy life while she filmed season 3 of BBWIVES LA.

We are now emerging into the third season of Basketball Wives LA, the spin off franchise of Basketball Wives which originally took place in Miami. The original series featuring Shaunie and Evelyn seemed to lose major ratings in it’s 5th season and unfortunately VH1 had to give it the plug. The ladies didn’t even get to have a reunion. But VH1 is hoping the LA cast will continue the franchise as Love & Hip Hop seems to be VH1’s hottest show. The show returns with it’s regulars Draya, Malaysia and Jackie but there is a few newcomers. Sundy Carter of all the girls might be the most interesting. She’s had the best career with over 20 years in the acting biz. Also Sundy was not a wife to an NBA player but a MISTRESS! OH LAWD! So who is this woman?

Sundy Carter was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1972. Although her age isn’t public in a small interview she did following the release of State Property she stated she was then 21 in 2002.

Sundy began acting in her 20’s. She got her first movie role on Damon Dash’s film State Property and returned for the sequel. She worked with A listers in her brief movie career like Queen Latifah, Steve Martin and Kevin Hart in Soul Plane. She played a stripper in the outrageous comedy. She went on to do independent low budget films but began modeling in men’s magazines to pay the bills.

In 2007 Sundy Carter got pregnant by then Charlotte Bobcats player Larry Hughes. At the time Larry was married but he never claimed the child or admitted to having an affair with Sundy. In 2010 he flew to Los Angeles telling his wife he was going to Nelly’s album release party. He did show up on the red carpet but according to Bossip Larry was visiting Sundy and their three year daughter Kennedy Carter. If this ain’t dirty then I don’t know what is.

Sundy also has two other daughters Deja and KK Carter. Deja is her oldest, and currently works as a back up dancer for Disney star Zendaya Carter. The most controversial and odd cast member on the series Jackie Christie. The lady who considers herself a mentor to the women as if there is something major she’s achieved to giver that title. Despite the attacks and digs that the other women make towards her on a regular off camera cast members Malaysia, Draya, Gloria and Laura admit they keep in touch with her and occasionally get together. Jackie’s smack talking might not get her the most likes but it’s done something to keep her on the series for the third season. VH1 reportedly offered her over $100,000 in the third season.

She was born Jackie Lee in 1969 in Seattle Washington. After high school Jackie had done modeling. Her oldest daughter Takari Lee is not the daughter of her current husband Doug. She was born in 1990 and is Jackie’s first child. Jackie did not have a relationship with Takari’s dad but Takari claims she kept in touch with her father growing up. It was Jackie’s mother who passed away in 2012 that took care of Takari while Jackie was on the road with Doug. We are now in the third season of VH1’s Basketball Wives LA. After watching the premiere episode in 2011 I was sure that might be the last season of the series. Three years later the show continues and Jackie Christie, the most hated cast member, is still around and earning big bucks. Although ratings declined in season 2 VH1 cut a few cast members to allow Draya Michele and Jackie Christie to return with a pay raise. It was reported Jackie and Draya’s salary is over $100,000 this season. But Jackie is doing so much more than airing her dirty laundry on tv. This is about as close to a precise estimate of how much Basketball Wives LA star Draya Michele is earning from her clothing line Mint Swimwear, modeling, and even child birth. Draya popped onto the scene in February 2011 when she first appeared in . Back in the day video models made over $5,000 per video shoot. That was the minimum for the leading girls but in the 2000s the video budgets were in sharp decline and so was the pay for the models. Most video girls can expect to earn $500-700 per video. Draya’s asking price was $1,200 a day for each video shoot. Her eleventh video was Fabolous’ “Leaving You”

In the beginning of her career as a men’s magazine model Draya earned a small $650 for each shoot until she started getting covers. There was even reports that she had been with comedian Kevin Hart. Since her ascension from stripper to reality star Draya Michele has rarely spoke about her personal life, besides who she sleeps with, and her son Kniko. The now 11 year old has grown up and almost a teenager. Draya refused to release any pictures of her son or even mention him on her social media pages. On season 1 of Basketball Wives LA Draya made her arrival late in the season. Kniko starts middle school in fall of 2014 and Draya and Orlando are already looking for a middle school with a good sports program in the Los Angeles area.

4. Draya still is not listed as his guardian. After the incident in 2011 when Kniko who was 7 called the Philadelphia police at 2am stating he was home alone, a judge ordered Draya’s mother to be granted full custody of her son. The report alleges Kniko called his mom 20 times and she told him she would be home soon. He was left at home for three days straight. I’m pretty sure Draya has plans to get back custody of her son since she seems a little bit more mature now.

5. Last but not least Kniko gets $40,000 a month. In 2012 Arenas’ last reported salary in the NBA was over $20 million. He signed a three year contract with Orlando Magic in 2011 reportedly worth $62 million. But in 2012 Gilbert is currently inactive in the NBA. If he were still under his contract he would have earned nearly $23 million this year. After one year with Orlando his contract was voided. But since his career started in 2001 he has made over $70 million in the NBA which is why the courts awarded Draya $40K in child support. In 2014 he has the option of getting it lowered since he is no longer employed but I highly doubt his bank statements would prove he couldn’t pay it.
